Florida's Ramos Development debuts emerging real estate fund

Ramos Development, which aims to invest in commercial and residential properties in Florida's Tampa Bay area, is launching a fund that the company said will target emerging and below-the-radar real estate projects.

Ramos Investment Growth Fund II will be "available to accredited investors and focus on the development of fundamentally strong assets in the Tampa Bay area," CEO James Ramos said in a release.

The fund has more than $15 million in active real estate projects slated for completion in the next 24 months, including properties on Bayshore Boulevard and Parkland Boulevard in South Tampa, according to the release.

Ramos Development said it is also evaluating the potential launch of Ramos Investment Growth Fund III later in 2018.
