Ahold Delhaize buys back €14.7M worth of shares

Dutch food retailer Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV said Jan. 8 that it bought back 663,000 of the company's common stock from Jan. 2 to Jan. 4.

The transaction is the first tranche of the company's €1 billion share buyback program announced in November 2018.

Ahold Delhaize paid an average price of €22.15 per share for a total consideration of €14.7 million.
