Moody's assigns issuer ratings to Poland-based mBank Hipoteczny

Moody's on May 27 assigned Poland-based mortgage bank mBank Hipoteczny SA Baa2/Prime-2 long- and short-term issuer ratings, with the stable outlook on the long-term rating driven by the stable outlook on parent mBank SA's ratings.

The agency also assigned mBank Hipoteczny A3/Prime-2 long- and short-term counterparty risk ratings and A3(cr)/Prime-2(cr) long- and short-term counterparty risk assessments. The positioning of the issuer ratings reflects mBank's 100% stake in mBank Hipoteczny and its commitment to maintain its subsidiary's capital and liquidity at satisfactory levels.

The outlook on mBank Hipoteczny was changed to stable from Rating Withdrawn.
