2 former UK pharmaceutical company execs set up new PE firm

Richard Anderson and Spencer Kerry, two former executives of U.K. pharmaceutical company Crawford Healthcare Ltd., launched a new healthcare-focused private equity firm, Private Equity News reported.

Impel Healthcare Catalyst will target U.K. healthcare companies valued at up to £50 million with the aim of entering the international market, primarily the U.S., according to the report.

The newly created firm, which is expected to announce its first deal in the week of Oct. 21, can also co-invest with other debt and equity funders, the report added.
