Auramex Resource Corp. said May 10 that it expanded the footprint of its flagship Georgie River gold project in British Columbia by acquiring the 654-hectare Exdale property.
Vendor Michael Marchand will receive 50,000 Auramex shares as payment for the property, which is on the northern edge of the Georgie River project. The vendor will also retain a 2% net smelter returns royalty over the property.
An exploration program, including a geophysical survey and acquisition of data for the Exdale and Georgie River properties, will be conducted in the near term.
