Bank of France expects GDP growth of 0.3% in Q2

France's GDP growth is expected to remain steady at 0.3% in the second quarter of 2018, the Bank of France said.

Business sentiment indicators for manufacturing and services both decreased to 102 in April from 103 in March, according to a bank survey.

Industrial production accelerated slightly in April and is expected to stabilize in May, the bank said. Total orders and deliveries also increased from the prior month. Activity in the service sector grew, particularly in consulting, engineering and advertising activities.

The business sentiment indicator for construction declined to 104 in April from 105 in March.
