Investa Commercial Property Fund obtains A$170M green loan

Investa Commercial Property Fund secured Australia's first green loan amounting to A$170 million.

At the same time, the unlisted fund also obtained the first verification in the country from the Climate Bonds Initiative, according to a news release.

Proceeds from the credit line, obtained from the ANZ bank, will be used to refinance an existing, revolving debt facility and will be fully allocated against the fund's entire 15-asset office portfolio worth over A$5.1 billion, which includes the Deutsche Bank Place at 126 Phillip St. and the property at 420 George St. in Sydney, as well as the 567 Collins Street in Melbourne.
