Sunac China records 32% YOY rise in August contracted sales

Sunac China Holdings Ltd.'s contracted sales in August rose 32% on an annual basis to 40.32 billion yuan, with contracted sold area clocking in at about 2,822,000 square meters.

The contracted average selling price in the reporting month was about 14,290 yuan per square meter, and the total subscription value recorded by the company was 40.86 billion yuan, an uptick of 29% on the year.

From January to August, contracted sales value came in at 265.72 billion yuan, which helped achieve the 63% year-over-year increase in total sales for the period of 267.91 billion yuan.

The contracted sales figures are unaudited and include contributions made by the Chinese developer's subsidiaries and affiliates.

As of Sept. 6, US$1 was equivalent to 6.84 yuan.
