HDFC completes sale of Computer Age Management Services stake

India-based Housing Development Finance Corp. Ltd., or HDFC, completed the sale of a 5.1% stake in Computer Age Management Services Pvt. Ltd., or CAMS, for a total consideration of 1.70 billion rupees.

The company sold 2,485,956 shares in CAMS to Warburg Pincus LLC affiliate Great Terrain Investment Ltd., Mauritius, at 681.91 rupees apiece, according to a Sept. 6 stock exchange filing.

HDFC still holds a 5.99% stake in CAMS following the sale.

As of Sept. 6, US$1 was equivalent to 72.02 Indian rupees.
