Colorado-based Mountain Valley Bank completes deal for Citywide Banks branch

Walden, Colo.-based Mountain Valley Bank completed its acquisition of Citywide Banks' branch in Steamboat Springs, Colo., according to a May 21 report on Steamboat Pilot & Today.

Under the terms of the deal, Mountain Valley Bank purchased substantially all of the assets and assumed substantially all of the liabilities of the branch.

The Citywide Banks staff at the location have been offered positions with Mountain Valley Bank.

Mountain Valley Bank is a subsidiary of Platte Valley Financial Service Cos. Inc., while Denver-based Citywide Banks is a unit of Heartland Financial USA Inc.
