Regis Resources Ltd.'s gold output from its Duketon gold project in Western Australia reached 90,487 ounces in the second quarter of its fiscal 2019, down 1.8% from record output of 92,113 ounces in the year-ago period.
For the quarter, the Duketon Northern Operations produced 22,174 ounces of gold, 22.5% lower than 28,596 ounces of gold in the comparative period.
Meanwhile, gold output from the Duketon Southern Operations increased 7.6% year on year to 68,313 ounces of gold, from 63,517 in the previous year.
First-half gold production slipped 1.5% to 181,366 ounces, from a record production of 184,034 ounces in the year-ago period.
The company sold 114,966 ounces of gold at an average price of A$1,718/oz in the December 2018 quarter, compared to 104,408 ounces of gold sold at an average price of A$1,655/oz in the comparative period.
Regis said Jan. 23 that it expects to hit the mid-to-upper end of its annual gold production guidance of between 340,000 and 370,000 ounces and the mid-to-lower end of its annual all-in sustaining costs of between A$985/oz and A$1,055/oz.
