Centaurus Metals Ltd. said Oct. 24 that it has received the drilling and clearing license for the Jaguar nickel sulfide project in Brazil.
Centaurus contracted diamond drilling company Servdrill and two track-mounted diamond drill rigs are now being mobilized to site. The drilling is targeted to start by the end of next week.
The initial drilling program will consist of 55 diamond drill holes for a total of 10,000 meters, with drilling set to start at the Onca-Preta and Jaguar South deposits.
In September, the company outlined plans to raise A$10 million for exploration and development at the Jaguar project.
