Dynamic Precision Industry Q1 profit climbs 53.0% YOY

Dynamic Precision Industry Corp. said its first-quarter normalized net income came to NT$1.46 per share, an increase of 52.2% from 96 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$74.5 million, a gain of 53.0% from NT$48.7 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 11.0% from 9.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 26.3% year over year to NT$676.5 million from NT$535.5 million, and total operating expenses grew 19.5% on an annual basis to NT$553.7 million from NT$463.4 million.

Reported net income increased 46.2% year over year to NT$113.0 million, or NT$2.21 per share, from NT$77.3 million, or NT$1.52 per share.
