H&R Real Estate Investment Trust completed its bought-deal offering of C$200 million principal amount of 3.369% series N senior unsecured debentures due Jan. 30, 2024.
The net proceeds from the offering, along with proceeds from the recent private placement of series M unsecured debentures and from the REIT's sale of a 50% interest in two Canadian shopping centers, will be used to repay two series of outstanding debentures with an aggregate principal amount of approximately C$175 million maturing between Jan. 23 and Feb. 3.
The proceeds will also be used to repay outstanding mortgages with an aggregate principal amount of approximately C$307 million maturing between Feb. 1 and March 1.
The syndicate of underwriters for the offering was co-led by BMO Capital Markets, CIBC Capital Markets, Scotiabank and TD Securities.
