Stock Yards Bancorp CEO to retire

David Heintzman, CEO of Stock Yards Bancorp Inc., is retiring from his position, effective Oct. 1.

Heintzman will serve as executive chairman of the Louisville, Ky.-based company through the end of the year and will continue as chairman after that.

James Hillebrand, president of Stock Yards Bancorp and subsidiary Stock Yards Bank & Trust Co., and a director at Stock Yards Bancorp, will replace Heintzman as CEO.

Philip Poindexter, executive vice president and chief lending officer of Stock Yards Bancorp, will become president of both Stock Yards Bancorp and Stock Yards Bank & Trust, replacing Hillebrand, also effective Oct. 1.
