Berkwood Resources appoints president/CEO, CFO

Berkwood Resources Ltd. said Jan. 18 that David Hodge has resigned as a director, president and CEO of the company.

Hodge will be succeeded by Thomas Yingling as president, CEO and a director, with immediate effect.

In addition, Jody Bellefleur has resigned from the CFO position. Binny Jassal, who currently serves as a director and/or CFO for a number of public companies in the mining sector, will assume the role of CFO.

Meanwhile, Frances Petryshen has resigned as corporate secretary, the company noted.

Berkwood added that it will proceed with the previously announced financing to raise gross proceeds of up to C$1 million via issuing up to 10 million units at 10 Canadian cents apiece.
