BTIG LLC has hired Michael Carley Jr. as director of fixed income credit.

Carley will focus on illiquid markets across high-yield, distressed debt, loans, trade claims and private equity. He is based in New York.

Carley joined BTIG from Jefferies LLC, where he was a member of the distressed-debt trading group.
