Orange SA overhauled its executive committee with the addition of seven new members.
Effective May 2, the 15-member team will work to help the company transform into a multi-services operator, the company said March 5.
The new additions are Orange Spain CEO Laurent Paillassot, who has been named deputy CEO; Hugues Foulon, who has been appointed executive director in charge of strategy for the group and cybersecurity activities; and Nicolas Guerin, who has been appointed secretary-general and secretary of the board. Guerin will oversee the legal, regulatory, public affairs, insurance, real estate and compliance departments.
Also joining the team are Valérie Le Boulanger, who has been appointed executive director in charge of human resources, while Alioune Ndiaye has been appointed CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa.
Helmut Reisinger has been appointed CEO of Orange Business Services. Further, the company will hire an external executive from the banking and finance industry to complete the executive committee over the coming weeks for the Orange Bank and Orange Money activities.
Additionally, Ramon Fernandez, delegate CEO, has been appointed finance and performance executive director. He will also take over the supervision of the group's operations in Europe, excluding France and Spain. Delegate CEO Gervais Pellissier will take responsibility for supervising and coordination of the Group's transformation.
Fabienne Dulac, CEO of Orange France, has been appointed deputy CEO of the group, while Mari-Noëlle Jégo-Laveissière has been named deputy CEO of the group and chief technology and innovation officer. She will manage a new division called "Technology and Global Innovation."
Christine Albanel will continue to serve as executive director of CSR, diversity, partnerships and philanthropy, as well as being deputy chairman of the Orange Foundation. The company tapped Jérôme Barré to be CEO of wholesale and international networks. Béatrice Mandine, executive director of communications and brand, will now manage both the group's internal and external communications teams.
The executive committee will meet every two months in an expanded "management committee" format that will include key managers within the group.
