Jubilee Enterprise Q1 profit falls YOY

Jubilee Enterprise Public Company Ltd said its normalized net income for the first quarter was 13 satang per share, a decrease of 37.5% from 20 satang per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 22.2 million baht, a decrease of 37.5% from 35.5 million baht in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 6.0% from 10.2% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 6.4% on an annual basis to 368.9 million baht from 346.7 million baht, and total operating expenses rose 14.6% on an annual basis to 336.3 million baht from 293.5 million baht.

Reported net income fell 38.5% from the prior-year period to 28.2 million baht, or 16 satang per share, from 45.9 million baht, or 26 satang per share.
