Ormat Technologies Inc. is assessing the impact of the volcano eruption on the company's Puna Geothermal Venture I project on the Big Island. Ormat CEO Isaac Angel said during a May 8 earnings call that the company has taken the power plant offline and is still monitoring the condition of the facilities.
