21Lady Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 came to a loss of ¥2.5 million, compared with income of ¥1.9 million in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin declined to negative 0.3% from 0.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue fell 8.9% year over year to ¥772.0 million from ¥847.0 million, and total operating expenses decreased 7.9% from the prior-year period to ¥776.0 million from ¥843.0 million.
Reported net income totaled a loss of ¥7.0 million, or a loss of ¥1.56 per share.
