Fuji Kyuko fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

Fuji Kyuko Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥4.55 per share, a decrease of 25.5% from ¥6.11 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥241.8 million, a decline of 25.5% from ¥324.4 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 2.1% from 2.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to ¥11.32 billion from ¥11.64 billion, and total operating expenses fell from the prior-year period to ¥10.76 billion from ¥10.93 billion.

Reported net income fell 12.0% on an annual basis to ¥264.0 million, or ¥4.97 per share, from ¥300.0 million, or ¥5.65 per share.

As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
