Publicis Groupe completes acquisition of Sapient

Publicis Groupe SA on Feb. 5 completed its deal to acquire Sapient Corp. for a transaction value of $3.37 billion.

The company offered $25 per share for the stake.

In addition to general closing conditions, the deal required additional review for antitrust concerns.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch International Ltd., BNP Paribas SA, Citigroup Inc. and Rothschild & Cie Banque were the financial advisers for Publicis Groupe, and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, Darrois Villey Maillot Brochier and Wachtell Lipton Rosen & Katz LLP were the legal advisers.

Blackstone Advisory Partners LP and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC were the financial advisers for Sapient, while Bredin Prat & Associes and Cravath Swaine & Moore LLP were the legal advisers.
