Siemens AG's net income attributable to shareholders for the third fiscal quarter ended June 30 totaled €1.03 billion, down from €1.11 billion in the prior-year period.
EPS came in at €1.27, a decline of 5.2% in the third quarter from €1.34 in the prior-year period. Revenue climbed 4% on an annual basis to €21.28 billion from €20.47 billion.
Siemens reported an increase in orders to €24.51 billion from €22.80 billion.
The company confirmed its outlook for the full fiscal year 2019, saying it expects an adjusted EBITA margin for the industrial businesses in the range of 11% to 12%. The company also expects to record basic EPS in the range of €6.30 to €7, excluding severance charges. The basic EPS for the third quarter reached €1.28.
