LSC Lithium Corp. provided an update on the progress of key infrastructure at the Pozuelos-Pastos Grandes lithium project in Argentina.
The company said Oct. 4 that gas capacity has been allocated to support a facility producing 20,000 tonnes per annum of lithium carbonate.
LSC Lithium also finished building a 40-person exploration camp at the Pozuelos salar. Three sources of fresh water were identified, and geotechnical investigations for ponds and plant infrastructure covering approximately 800 hectares have commenced.
In addition, the company submitted an application for an easement for the brine pipeline corridor connecting Pastos Grandes and Pozuelos. Approval is expected in the first quarter of 2019.
LSC Lithium recently raised C$7.9 million to advance its lithium projects in Argentina, which also include Rio Grande and Salinas Grandes.
