Bénéteau SA said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Feb. 28 was a loss of 43 euro cents per share, compared with a loss of 26 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of €34.2 million, compared with a loss of €21.5 million in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed 10.7% on an annual basis to €313.0 million from €282.7 million, and total operating expenses rose 10.6% on an annual basis to €350.7 million from €317.1 million.
Reported net income totaled a loss of €33.7 million, or a loss of 42 cents per share, compared to a loss of €19.7 million, or a loss of 24 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
