China Vanadium resumes operations at Maoling-Yanglongshan iron ore mine

China Vanadium Titano-Magnetite Mining Co. Ltd. said Oct. 11 that it has progressively resumed operations at the Maoling-Yanglongshan iron ore mine in Sichuan, China, as access to Wenchuan County has been substantially restored.

Following the resumption of the operations, safety inspections may more frequently be conducted at the mine by both local authorities and the company and its subsidiaries' internal technical team for operations and workplace safety.

In September, the company said it has yet to restart operations at the mine as mudslides blocked access to some roads near the site.
