Charter Hall Long WALE raises A$46M from retail entitlement offer

Charter Hall Long WALE REIT raised roughly A$46 million at the close of its 1-for-9.25 accelerated nonrenounceable entitlement offer's retail component.

The offering was undertaken with the goal to raise about A$94.1 million for the financing of its A$90.8 million acquisition of Virgin Australia's headquarters in Brisbane, Australia.

Of the A$46 million raised, roughly A$24 million was taken up by existing retail security holders, with the remainder to be assigned to various institutional investors.

The new securities issued under the retail entitlement offer will be allotted Dec. 27 and commence normal trading on the Australian bourse Dec. 28.

Additionally, securities issued under the offer's institutional component raised about A$47.6 million and commenced trading Dec. 18.

UBS AG's Australian branch served as the underwriter for the offering.
