Vestas Wind Systems A/S secured an order for 101 MW of wind turbines for towers in China. With a hub height of 152 meters, the towers are China's tallest, according to a Jan. 11 news release.
"Together with the proven 2 MW platform, Vestas' high tower solution remains one of our core competitive offerings for China's low wind market," said Anne Vedel, vice president and CTO/CCO of Vestas China.
The order inclues a two-year management service agreement, with the delivery and commissioning slated for the second quarter of 2019.
