Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT sells 2 data centers for $85M

Diversified real estate investment trust Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT Inc. sold the Milwaukee Data Center in Hartland, Wis., and the Alpharetta Data Center II in Alpharetta, Ga., for a combined $85.0 million.

The Milwaukee Data Center spans 59,516 square feet on 7.98 acres and was sold to Landmark Infrastructure Operating Co. LLC for $21.0 million, while the Alpharetta Data Center II, which encompasses 165,000 square feet and sits on 14.4 acres, was purchased by Alpharetta DC LLC for $64.0 million.

The company is also under contract to sell the Andover Data Center in a deal expected to close in the third quarter.
