Hewlett Packard Enterprise signs $4.8B revolving credit facility

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. on Aug. 16 entered into a $4.75 billion senior unsecured revolving credit facility with a group of lenders, according to a Form 8-K filed Aug. 20.

Lending commitments will be available for five years and may be extended for a maximum of two, one-year periods, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions. The credit facility will bear per annum interest rates, based on either the LIBOR or an alternate base rate.

The company intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.

Citibank NA acted as co-administrative agent and JPMorgan Chase Bank NA as co-administrative agent and administrative processing agent for the transaction.
