Report: Citi to delegate responsibilities of outgoing head of North America

New York-based investment bank Citigroup Inc. plans to delegate the responsibilities of Bill Mills, its outgoing head of North America, to other members within its management chain, Reuters reported.

The head of Citigroup's consumer division, Citibank NA CEO Barbara Desoer, will lead the group's business practices committee. Former Japan CEO T.J. Della Pietra will oversee the legacy assets business, which includes the group's noncore consumer and institutional businesses and assets, the report said.

Meanwhile, Michael Burke will oversee Citigroup's international franchise management, reporting to a roster of regional CEOs who will take the lead of the business on a rotating basis starting from Latin America CEO Jane Fraser in 2019.
