The Reyl Group launched Asteria Investment Managers, an asset management affiliate that will be dedicated to social and environmental impact investing.
Asteria Investment Managers will offer institutional investors impact products and strategies, focusing on diversity and inclusion, environment preservation, support for developing countries and innovation and technology. The affiliate will also provide access to a wide range of asset classes, such as thematic listed equities, sustainable bonds and alternative strategies.
The company will allocate capital to firms generating social and environmental benefits and plans to make a few acquisitions to improve its offering, the group noted.
Katia Coudray will serve as CEO of Asteria Investment Managers, having joined the Reyl Group as head of impact investing in July. Additionally, Guido Bolliger, Natacha Guerdat and Fabio Sofia will serve as head of investments and equity strategies, head of research and head of bond and private debt strategies, respectively.
The new company's senior management team will also include Francesco Genovese, in charge of the firm's sales and commercial development.
The Reyl Group is an independent diversified banking group with a presence in Switzerland, Europe and rest of the world. Reyl & Cie Holding SA is the holding company of the group, which has AUM in excess of CHF16 billion.
