Via Transportation Inc. raised an undisclosed amount at the close of its series E financing round.
The round was led by Exor NV, which will invest $200 million in the company.
Existing investors Pitango Venture Capital, 83North Ltd., Hearst Ventures, Ervington Investments Ltd., Planven Ventures, Broadscale Group LLC and RiverPark Ventures, as well as new investors Shell Ventures, Macquarie Capital and Mori Building Co. Ltd. also participated in the fundraising activity.
As part of the transaction, Noam Ohana, head of Exor's early-stage investment arm Exor Seeds, will join Via's board of directors.
Based in New York, Via develops and supports ride-sharing applications.
