Telia Co. AB, through its unit Fintur Holdings BV, is selling its full ownership of Moldovan mobile operator Moldcell to CG Cell Technologies DAC for $31.5 million.
The deal is not subject to any closing conditions and is expected to be completed within the first quarter of 2020.
The transaction is in line with the Swedish telco's ultimate goal of exiting the Eurasian region, in order to focus on its Nordic and Baltic operations, said Telia acting President and CEO Christian Luiga.
CG Cell Technologies is a wholly owned unit of Nepalese conglomerate CG Corp Global.
