Sul América completes 100M reais stake purchase in digital investment platform

Brazilian insurer Sul América SA said it completed a 25% stake purchase in digital investment platform Órama Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários SA.

The 100 million Brazilian reais deal, which was announced in May 2019, "reinforces" Sul América's strategic positioning in digital services, a segment that is penetrating Brazil's financial sector and continues to show considerable growth potential, the company said.

Órama was founded in 2011 and offers investment products online.

As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to 4.33 Brazilian reais.
