Salem Media withdraws Q1 guidance amid coronavirus impact

Salem Media Group Inc. withdrew its revenue and operating expense guidance for the first quarter, citing the increasing social and economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Based on current indications, Salem expects total first-quarter 2020 revenue to be less than what it previously projected as a result of reduced revenues from advertising, programming, events and book sales, according to a March 26 company release.
