Raytheon, US Missile Defense Agency sign $2.1B missile deal

Raytheon Co. signed a $2.1 billion deal with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency to produce and deliver Standard Missile-3 Block IB interceptors, which can be launched on land and at sea.

The deal, which covers fiscal years 2019-2023, is a first multiyear contract for the SM-3 program, according to a March 30 release.
