Murphy Oil CEO takes temporary medical leave pending coronavirus test results

Oil and gas producer Murphy Oil Corp.'s President and CEO Roger Jenkins has taken a temporary medical leave, pending the test results of a presumptive diagnosis of the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

Jenkins is expected to completely recover, the company said in a March 25 news release.

In the interim, David Looney, Murphy Oil's executive vice president and CFO, will assume Jenkin's responsibilities as president and CEO.
