Sompo International Holdings Ltd. appointed Michael Carroll senior vice president and deputy head of life sciences for Sompo Global Risk Solutions.
Carroll previously worked at Chubb Ltd., where he was responsible for building and leading underwriting practices focused on serving the biotechnology and life sciences industries, as well as being the company's subject matter expert for contract research organizations.
Scor SE's Channel Syndicate named Caroline Coulson senior underwriter on the political and credit risks team within Scor Specialty Insurance, effective immediately.
Coulson was previously a senior political risk underwriter at Lancashire Insurance Co. Ltd.
Odyssey Reinsurance Co. named Alberto Marcano senior vice president and chief underwriting officer for treaty in its Latin America division.
He succeeds Andrew Dickson, who was appointed head of surety for Hudson Insurance Group Inc., Odyssey Group's U.S. insurance division.
Andrew Grey, assistant vice president and senior surety underwriter for OdysseyRe's North America division, will assume the additional role of head of surety for its Latin America division.
