* HSBC Holdings PLC appointed Samer Deghaili and Marc Abourjeily co-heads of the capital market division for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey region, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the bank.
Deghaili, who was head of equity capital markets for the Middle East and North Africa region, will manage the capital market division. Abourjeily, who was head of debt finance and risk solutions for the Middle East and North Africa region, will take a sabbatical leave through January 2021 to spend time with his family.
The Bankers Investment Trust
* The Bankers Investment Trust PLC appointed Richard West nonexecutive director, effective April 1.
West bought 5,000 shares of the company before his appointment.
* Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale, or Helaba, appointed Klaus Schuler head of corporate banking division, effective March 16.
The company said member of the managing board Norbert Schraad will retire, effective May 31.
Schraad has been responsible for the company's corporate banking division since 2006. His responsibilities will be handed over to the remaining three members of the board.
Alpha Bank AE appointed Maria Rontogianni executive general manager and head of group internal audit, effective April 1 and May 1 respectively.
Rontogianni was previously senior vice president, group audit and risk management at Deutsche Telekom AG
