Athene prices $500M senior note offering

Athene Holding Ltd. priced an offering of $500 million of its 6.150% senior unsecured notes due April 3, 2030.

The price of the notes to the public is 99.808% of the principal amount plus accrued interest, if any, from April 3. Interest will be paid April 3 and Oct. 3 of each year, starting Oct. 3.

Athene expects to receive net proceeds before expenses of about $495.8 million. The company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including support of investment opportunities, organic and inorganic growth, and its commitment to Athene Co-Invest Reinsurance Affiliate.

The offering is expected to close on April 3.

Barclays Capital Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, RBC Capital Markets LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the active joint book-running managers for the offering. BNP Paribas Securities Corp., BofA Securities Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC are the co-managers.
