Global Chief Commercial Officer, S&P Global Ratings
As Executive Managing Director & Chief Commercial Officer for S&P Global Ratings, Chris is responsible for the Sales and Marketing organizations, leading the teams that leverage external insight to develop and promote new products and services to sell in our markets around the world. Chris’s organization is also responsible for product innovations that enable us to elevate our client focus, engage the market and deliver even greater value. He is a member of the S&P Global Ratings Executive Committee.
Previously, Chris led the S&P Global Ratings Sales teams responsible for global commercial customer relationships, regional business strategies in developed markets, and product development. Before joining S&P Global, Chris was with HSBC, where he was most recently Managing Director & Global Head of International Subsidiary Banking for the Commercial Banking Group. In this role, Chris had responsibility for teams in 55 countries around the world focused on delivering a consistent, client-driven sales and relationship management organization to over 35,000 clients globally. Prior to this, he held several senior-level sales and operating roles at HSBC with multi-regional responsibilities and was based in the U.S. and Hong Kong.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Green Mountain College.
