Sarah Cottle

Global Head of News and Research

Sarah Cottle is Global Head of News and Research for S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Previously, Sarah served as Global Head of Market Insight at S&P Global Platts, and was a member of the Platts Executive Committee. Prior to November 2016, Sarah was Head of Content in Asia and Global Agriculture lead.

In a career spanning twenty years, Sarah has held leadership positions at information providers in Europe and Asia, including Reed Business Information, Bloomberg, Dow Jones/Wall Street Journal and CNBC. Sarah joined Platts in January 2012.

Sarah also works in a number of capacities to help women leaders advance in their careers, including holding the role of Executive Sponsor for S&P Global’s “Women’s Initiative for Networking & Success” in Asia, speaking at external networking events and contributing to the diversity and inclusion and corporate social responsibility agendas of S&P Global.

Sarah holds a degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Sheffield, in the UK, and also speaks Italian.
