Susan George

Vice President, Human Resources, S&P Dow Jones Indices

Susan George is Vice President, Human Resources at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI). Susan is responsible for the overall human resources function for the global business, providing strategic and tactical guidance to senior leadership, including defining the human capital strategy and talent goals which align to S&P DJI’s growth and performance business objectives.

Additionally, Susan manages the complexities of a global business, including performance management, organizational design, talent acquisition, employee development, and compensation related to key talent. She also manages significant global HR projects, including joint ventures in the U.S. and abroad.

Susan has been a global business partner to multiple non-ratings businesses across McGraw Hill Financial (MHFI) over the past 20 years and has specifically supported the S&P Dow Jones Indices business since 2007. Before joining MHFI, Susan led the HR function for Reserve Management Corporation, a mutual fund company in New York, with responsibility for all HR programs and services nationwide, including Benefits, Compensation, Staffing, Employee Relations, and Performance Management.

Susan is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Communications from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Baruch College.
