Senior Director, S&P Global Ratings
Funmi is a Senior Director in the U.S. Corporates Natural Resources team at S&P Global Ratings, where she manages a multi-billion debt portfolio of metals and mining, home builders and building materials companies. Prior to this, Funmi successfully deployed a global lean management initiative at S&P. She also covered the transportation sector. She has received a Gold ACE award for Analytical Excellence, the highest award for corporate recognition, and the Women’s Bond Club Rising Star Award.
Before joining S&P in 2007, Funmi worked for National City Bank (now PNC Bank) in loan underwriting and before that she was at GE Capital Commercial Finance working in Stamford, Bangkok and Mexico City. Funmi is on the board of the Young Professionals Council of the American Red Cross. She holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
