Suraj Ghosh

Associate Director, Powertrain & Compliance Forecasts, S&P Global Mobility

Suraj Ghosh leads the South Asia division of Powertrain & Compliance Forecasts at S&P Global Mobility and is the subject matter expert for India region.

Suraj has more than 12 years of experience in the automobile industry and was previously associated with Powertrain R&D of India's leading automobile manufacturer - Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

He is regularly participates in annual strategy & planning workshops conducted by OEMs and Suppliers and has represented S&P Global at several global (Tokyo, Shanghai, Bangkok) and domestic (New Delhi, Pune, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Chennai) internal and external conferences and events. He's also regularly quoted in the media.

In addition to Powertrain forecasting, he advocates for fuel-neutral legislations and sustainable clean energy. His views on Indian powertrain technology development and evolution are highly sought after by S&P Global clientele as well as external planners and media groups.

Suraj has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA with a specialization in Strategy, both from premier institutes in India.
