The BCA market is estimated to be worth around $3bn and growing at a rate of 7% p.a.
It comprises around 1000 AIs distributed between 4 sectors: microbials, plant extracts, semiochemicals and macrobials.
Of the 4 sectors microbials is by far the largest accounting for around 60% of the estimated $3bn market, followed by microbials, plant extracts and semiocemical.
