Platts to update Mexico natural gas transportation rates

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will make its quarterly update to the natural gas transportation rates used in the calculation of the Mexico daily natural gas prices.

Platts will use the current rates in pipeline tariffs for the transportation routes, the January 2025 midweek price for the Tennessee, zone 0, Waha, and SoCal Gas source locations, and the January 3, 2025, Mexican peso to US dollar spot exchange rate. This update will also include the latest SISTRANGAS rates as of Dec. 13, 2024, under authorization RES/2568/2024 for the period Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2025.
