Platts has reviewed feedback on its proposal to discontinue the assessment of US trichloroethylene, perchloroethylene and methylene chloride markets, following a subscriber note published on May 4, 2010.
Following this internal review, Platts will discontinue these assessments from May 3, 2011. The affected assessments are basis FOB US Gulf and Delivered East of Rockies (DER) both in $/mt. These assessments are currently published on Platts Petrochemical Alert page 393 and the weekly Platts Solventswire. The affected Oracle codes are as below:
